Bill and Rita are fantastic hosts and are the examples of what a caring host should be. Arete Stay is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a second home while away. It is fully equipped to handle any family and friend gathering with plenty of room inside and outside. We appreciate this place and will definitely be staying here again as we visit Austin regularly.

This was a 10 out 10 experience. Peace and quiet, rest and relaxation, and world class hospitality all rolled up in to one when it comes to Bill and Rita’s home. Two great hosts! Can’t wait to stay at Arete Stay again in the future.

If THIS isn't the best find for a family gathering or small group respite, I don't know what is! 😍 I've owed a marketing agency since the late 90's which serves clients from all over the world, and we chose this location for a series of business meetings. Our clients were blown away with their stay at Arete - and so was I! It's a beautiful haven of quiet serenity a stone's throw away from every city amenity one could need. Most importantly, this beautiful property is an extension of Bill & Rita's kind, thoughtful, and hospitable spirit.. where the sun shines a bit brighter because they are your hosts. Pro tip: splurge for the small extra fee for their pool next door! It's the cherry on top of an already perfect stay! 🍒

The home was beautiful and very clean. The beds were comfy. We loved that it was very peaceful. Near everything you could need. Owners are very nice and communicated well. Would stay there over and over.

My family and I had a marvelous time. The place is even better in person. Great for a family to stay - they have everything you need. Perfectly laid out, massive kitchen, all the tools, signs foe WiFi everywhere, simple driveway, and close to the main parts of Austin. A gem and we will definitely be returning.

I choose the place because of it's proximity to my son's house and wasn't really focussed on the details when I booked it. I was in for a pleasant surprise. The place is a newly built, well furnished and stocked freestanding home with a large private outdoor area. Bill was super nice and helpful. I will definitely check if their place is available the next time I visit Austin!

I have stayed in many Airbnb properties and most are good. All in all, Rita and Bill’s “Areta Stay is the best by far. Wonderfully furnished, private but convenient location, and very gracious hosts. The property looks and feels like a well cared for home rather than a “rental”. If they will have me, I’ll be back!

PERFECT in every way! We reserved this Airbnb for out of town family attending our daughters wedding. They loved it! We've stayed at a lot of Airbnbs and always given truthful, honest reviews in solidarity with other folks looking for good places to stay. Wow! This one should have an extra star! Bill and Rita have an amazing place. Do not hesitate, this one is everything you'd want. Exceeds expectation.

Perfect 5 star accommodations. Rita and Bill were responsive and friendly. The house was located on a large and quiet lot yet close to restaurants, stores and parks. The inside was very clean, large and well laid out for multiple guests to get a good night's sleep. Super comfortable furniture and beds with a stunning master bathroom. Very well appointed kitchen with all the special extras like Keurig coffee and granola bars. A lot of children's games for both indoor and outdoor play. Many comfortable outdoor seating spaces to enjoy the Texas sunrise and sunsets. Unfortunately it got cold and snowy during our stay, otherwise we would have taken advantage of those outdoor spaces. We would love to stay here again in the future. Thanks Rita and Bill!

Our stay at Rita & Bill was amazing. The house is beautiful! You feel right at home when you come in. One of our favorites things was having coffee in the porch early in the morning and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. You have everything you need - and more--for a great stay! We wish we could have stayed longer. Rita and Bill are great hosts!! Thank you for your hospitality!!
